day 976 - a nest

unhinged, undisturbed and untouched by the cruel hands of superstorm sandy.

a hibiscus bud waiting to bloom. at the allan gardens.

chocolate mousse cake, in particular, is one i would never, ever turn down. see the texture here? what you see is what you eat. lovin' it!

is still a rose. but when you have a white rose and it comes out yellow in the photograph that's when you know you have a problem!

found these two mucking around at the railway park at the bottom of the cn tower. boy on the right went up that structure and didn't quite know how to get back down, he had to slid off the inclined wall. boys!

we discovered a new haunt: a small lake as picturesque as any other.

day 966 - colours on the valley

looking down on the don valley parkway facing west. the colours are just fantastically beautiful!

day 965 - behind bars

view of the downtown skyline and the gorge from the bloor-danforth viaduct; the bars are reinforcements to prevent people from committing suicide. in the early 1990's this was a favoured spot for committing suicide - the drop alone will kill you, and of course below is the don valley expressway, one of the busiest arteries in the greater toronto area.

this is tarique, he is from ethiopia but lives "around here".

day 961 - puddle reflections

can't fit in all the objects in a large puddle; and some said all you'd need is a square foot of puddle. yeah, foot of a yeti, maybe.

dya 960 - perfect specimen

not just the runner, but her running stride as well. and i caught her in mid-air in the last photo.

day 959 - logs and red

i don't know what these fruits are, but the plant made a nice contrast to the rough texture and colour of the logs and the greens of the trees and grass.
