"everybody loves the sound of a train in the distance"i was in london (ontario) today at the western fairgrounds and i saw this antique train on display on dundas street just before you get inside the fairgrounds proper. it called to mind this paul simon song. i know, ever since i was a young girl back in the old country, hearing the distant sound of the trains evoked (and even today) fantasies of far travels and adventures.
