day 872 - mid-week sundown

in the city, the sun sets not over the lake but over the roofs of houses and buildings. still makes for a nice shot.

day 850 - day is done

time to relax and watch the setting sun, or check your iphone/blackberry while the sun sets.

day 732 - winter sunset

you can never have too many moon shots, nor sunset shots for that matter. so why not another sunset as beautiful as this one? babes, it's cold outside!

and god paints the sky with wonderful lines and colours, just for us. but how many actually appreciate it? do we ever drop what we do just so we could watch this spectacular show? well, i do sometimes. (taken at the speed of 120 kmph, the car that is.)

another beautiful sunset, another missed opportunity. there will be many more, though, but not this one, each one is always different.

day 639 - and the day is done...

watching the sun set on this day, my last day before i leave for a holiday that seems uncertain for me. i don't know what i will find there, if i will find a new life or the possibility of a new life. but it still keeps knocking on my head: what is so wrong with this life? i suppose our searching is never really over. as the sun sets, so does it rise again in the morning.

we were driving home from picking up the children and the sunset was quite pleasant to look at. so even at 120 kph on the highway, i had to take a picture.
