day 790 - what a waste!

as beautiful as this shot looks, it is still a pity and a waste that in the middle of the day when the sun is at its brightest, the lamp lights are on. what gives?

trying to take a macro shot of a new shoot found at the parkette. i thought it was just some new leaves, but i was surprised to see there were tiny berries with it. i should really really start wearing my glasses :-)

day 781 - bursts of red

found this low bush at the parkette next door. must look up what kind of plant this is.

day 780 - reach for the sky

clear skies but cold as hell, er ice. the soft breeze makes the tall reeds sway gently as if reaching up to the blue blue skies.

day 779 - a study in depth of field

dof is well and good, if you don't forget to change the light setting of your camera from inside incandescent when you're outside in the full sun. but doesn't this look cool? it is, because it is cold outside despite the sun. i know. the thermometer says so.

day 778 - waxing crescent

the moon, waxing cresent at 16.5%. and that is venus to the right. interesting, isn't it?

day 777 - strange flowers

strange to me, at least. they are so tiny. the tire of a full-size bike gives you the perspective of how small these plants are. these are very deep dark pink but of course that doesn't show much on the pink and since it was bright sunshine in london today.

day 776 - a pink car!

i'm very interested in finding out if a man actually drives this. not that there's anything wrong with a man driving a pink car, because i have a very high respect for men who loves pink. pink stuff, not pink the rocker.

day 775 - barbie shoes and clutches

i'd use the clutch bags depending on where i'm going and the colour of my dress. but i can't fathom why i'd wear the shoes. ah, yes, i now remember, barbie wanna-be's. see them all the time around the malls downstairs and they all walk funny. wonder if they try to run for the train in these crap? in thirty years, the country will be full of old women with severely deformed bunions! tee-hee!
