day 792 - happy birthday, paul!

paul is 50, the sign says. so 50 beer mug posters were planted on his front lawn. i do not know who paul is, but happy birthday paul. (just passed by this house on my way to breakfast :-)

day 791 - pink hyacinth

they come in pink, purple, white, blue, green even.

day 790 - in vivid colours

camera setting is screwed up, it's taking pictures in bigger files and this much colours. tee-hee! i might enjoy it for quite a bit, that is until i find out how to correct the damn settings.

day 789 - shy and pink

this flower looks kind of shy, isn't it?

day 788 - bamboo

i might have posted this in here before. it's just that the light of the morning sun gave this a whole new look, including the whitewashed colour.

what one notices when you're not looking: an unfurling young fern.

day 784 - what is this thing!

very clever, indeed. a tree branch that grew around this wire fence, they cut the tree and left this part of it because they would have to destroy the wire fence if they had to do that. at a glance it looks like a dead animal, like a large rat or something.

day 783 - a dead butterfly

found this on the pavement today. poor butterfly!

day 782 - catching a lot of sun

the pink tulips look pretty from its underside facing the bright sun. it's like they're trying to catch a lot of sunlight for later use!

day 781 - feeling fluffy!

i don't know what this tree is but the clustered flowers sure look like cotton balls. they are so lovely!

day 780 - small things come with a big punch

the flowers look like lily of the valley, but i've never seen LOTV clusterd like this. maybe it's a genus?

day 799 - i fancy a pansy

pretty miniature pansy flower; found on the side of a road.

day 798 - hyacinthus

beautiful purple hyacinth; gives me a headache but i still like them. some people give me headaches, too, and i don't like them. they are not like the hyacinth.

day 797 - the great wall of china

literally. a wall decorated with different patterns of china. it's great! get it?

day 796 - friday afternoon

toronto's rush hour. the sun casts long shadows of people on the pavement.

day 795 - it's a plane!

yes, there's also a bird, right in front of its nose. but you must look closely.

day 794 - sun peeking through

the morning sun peeking through the fence and through the kitchen window. damn those parking lot signs!

day 793 - flower power-er

what holds the flower in all its beauty, but the little rocks soaked underneath just doing its duty.
