day 734 - camouflage

hard to get this little bird on camera. moved around too much. and it blended in with the dead leaves. but what surprised me with this picture were the greens starting to sprout from underneath the dead leaves. yay! spring's here!

day 682 - teeming

those hydro lines were just teeming with birds. it was incredible.

day 673 - bird attack

at the boardwalk at lunch, a woman threw scraps of food at the water and suddenly out of nowhere these seagulls appeared and swarmed the water. eerie but i managed to take a few shots. turned out it was a set up for her husband who was taking photos of the birds. hah! i'd have called the cops on them had i not gotten a few good shots.

day 592 - bird bath

just some birds who managed to get my attention as they played on a fountain.

day 499 - in the urban jungle

this bird sings, incessantly to the point of annoying. but at least he didn't shit on me like the other birds used to do! bleh!

day 494 - the model

i was shooing him away so i could take a shot of the boat, he did then came back as soon as i pressed my shutter and completely covered my subject. the friggin' so and so.

day 446 - on a bright sunny day

in carol stream, illinois. while my sister hears a mass, i am stalking the birds outside of corpus christi church. the birds are singing, mating and taunting me, knowing i wanted so desperately to take their pictures in flight, close up, but this is the most that they'd make me.
